Cilincing Floating Dock Construction Completed

Cilincing Floating Dock construction, North Jakarta, has finished. But, dredging at estuary of Cakung Drain River is still on progress.

With this floating dock, we hope fishermen and local people welfare could be increased

Cilincing Urban Village Head, Purnomo said, his side will keep socialize fishermen and local residents about this dock which its construction is one of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programs.

"This floating dock construction is done by private side and now it has finished. We all hope this can be operated soon thus fishermen and residents can use it," he said while monitoring the floating pier, Tuesday (8/15).

Polder Becomes Part of NCICD Phase A Project

According to him, the dock which is located at estuary of Cakung drain river has about 30 meters long. It is considered could accommodate 15-20 fishermen's boats. This floating dock uses barrels raft for its base and cover it with boards.

Cilincing Floating Dock construction was started since May 2017. It was done together with Cakung Drain River mud dredging by Jakarta Water Environment (SDA) Dept. and Ciliwung-Cisadane Flood Control Office (BBWSCC).

"With this floating dock, we hope fishermen and local people welfare could increase," he closed.
