Assistant for Economics and Finance, Franky Mangatas Panjaitan asks Regional-Owned Enterprises (BUMD) in the food field should act directly into market participants to maintain price stability.
"The presence of BUMD in the food field as market participants will ensure consumers can get affordable prices," he expressed, after a meeting of Regional Financial Task Force (TPID), at City Hall, Tuesday (8/22).

"If it is applied, BUMD food can meet 30 percent of strategic commodity needs," he explained.
In the meantime, PT Food Station Tjipinang Jaya Operational Director, Frans Tambunan stated, the most effective way to stabilize prices is needed as a market participant.
"The concept of mini distribution center is very well applied to increase and expand market penetration," he told.
As known, the TPID meeting was attended by ranks of PD Dharma Jaya, PD Pasar Jaya and PT Food Station Tjipinang Jaya.
