PD. PAL Jaya Keeps Educating The Importance of Sanitation

Wastewater Management Jaya Regional Enterprise (PD. PAL Jaya) keeps educating the importance of sanitation to communities.

We give socialization about good septic tank and desludging it regularly through Scheduled Fecal Sludge Service (L2T2)

His side is educating through Clean Environment Movement (Grebeg) program in residential and school areas.

PD. PAL Jaya President Director, Subekti mentioned that program has been started since early of 2017.

"We give socialization about good septic tank and desludging it regularly through Scheduled Fecal Sludge Service (L2T2)," he said, Tuesday (8/22).

He explained, 150 houses in Pekojan Urban Village have become L2T2 service customers through this socialization.

"It costs Rp 330 thousand for desludging using septic tank and there are three installments also," he added.

According to him, his side also intensifies sanitation education in school.

"In school, we use story telling method and hold coloring contest. Thus children will keep remembering the importance of sanitation and preserving the environment until they grow up," he explained.

Meanwhile Pekojan Urban Village Head, Tri Praseto Utomo added, he feels grateful that Pekojan Urban Village can be the pilot project to optimize L2T2. Hopefully, people who aware of cleanliness and environment preservation could increase.

"We are positively welcoming and supporting the realization of good waste management thus it will not pollute the environment," he closed.
