3,885 Sacrificial Animals in West Jakarta Have Been Examined

From August 18-21, 2017, there are 3,885 sacrificial animals health including cows, buffaloes, goats, and sheep have been examined.

There are 5 animals in sick condition, three disabled animals, and 38 animals are under age

West Jakarta KPKP Sub-dept. Head, Maysawitri Gumay said, his side has checked sacrificial animals from 53 animal shelters in eight sub-districts.

"According to our examination result until August 21, as many as 1,479 cows, 53 buffaloes, 2,315 goats, and 38 sheep have been examined by our team," she informed, Tuesday (8/22).

14,529 Qurban Animals Are Safe From Disease

She mentioned, dozens of sacrificial animals were found not meet the standard to be slaughtered.

"There are 5 animals in sick condition, three disabled animals, and 38 animals are under age. The remaining 3,839 are healthy," she affirmed.

She explained that her side give red-cross mark to disabled animals, under aged animals, and sick animals.

"We encourage people to buy sacrificial animal that has a sticker mark because we just put it on the animal that we have checked," she closed.
