Council will Collect Any Opinions Related to Three Market Management Raperda

City Council held Opinion Listening Meeting (RDP) related to three regulation drafts (raperda) about market management.

We will collect all opinions. Since the time is limited, I suggest to hold RPD again

Jakarta Regulation Forming Agency (Bapemperda) Member, Hamidi said, all opinions from all sides will be collected for these three raperda discussion.

"We will collect all opinions. Since the time is limited, I suggest to hold RPD again," he expressed at City Council Building, Wednesday (8/23).

Zoning Terms will Be Set Through Three Market Management Raperda

Several opinions were stated in RPD, such as not limiting kiosk ownership just one merchant for one kiosk. Because it will be hard for merchant to expand its business.

Other opinions is about 20 percent provision for small medium enterprises (UMKM) in supermarket and shopping center. It is hoped there will be no provision limitation for UMKM.

Jakarta Economic Bureau Head, Sri Haryati admitted her side needs opinions from other sides to formulate raperda. Because those three raperda are related to business actors.

"Thus we ask for their opinions. We just as a regulator, while they who will apply it," she said.

According to her, her side will look for its pattern that can allow three market types to develop through these market management raperda. In new raperda, there are just three market types. There are traditional market, supermarket, and shopping center.

For information, three market management raperda which is on discussion are raperda related to Market, Pasar Jaya as Regional Own Corporate, and Pasar Jaya Business Development and Management.
