500 PMKS in Jakarta will Be Repatriated to Hometown

They are netted from the streets. From 4,000 PMKS, only 500 of them are repatriated to their hometown

Jakarta Social Dept. will repatriate 500 people with social welfare problems (PMKS). Starting this year, it is directly done by Social Sub-dept. in each region, including operational funds.

Jakarta Social Dept. Head, Masrokhan said, along January-June 2017, there are 4,000 PMKS housed in some social homes. 

Sex Worker Without Jakarta ID Card Repatriated

"They are netted from the streets. From 4,000 PMKS, only 500 of them are repatriated to their hometown," he expressed, Thursday (8/24).

All this time, he added, those who are netted to a social home for undergoing assessment and coaching. And then it is continued with data collection to find out whether they have ID card or not.
