48,234 Qurban Animals in Jakarta Already Examined

Jakarta Maritime, Agriculture and Food Security Dept., recorded that there have been 48,234 qurban animals examined this week.
Examination itself is done at 674 locations. Animals that have been examined will get sticker
Sri Hartati, Section Head of Livestock and Animal Health disclosed the 48,234 qurban animals examined consist of 17,089 cows, 711 buffaloes, 28,147 goats and 2,287 sheep.

From the examination results, 104 animals are sick, 13 animals are disabled and 249 animals are underage. For sick animals will be given treatment, as well as underage and disabled animals will be given a cross to avoid being sold.
"It will be done until September 4. Hence people are directed to buy qurban animal at places that have been examined by the officer," he closed.
