TransJakarta Bus Operational Adjusted During JNF

Head of Jakarta Transportation Department, Muhammad Akbar, stated that the operational of TransJakarta bus in corridor I (Blok M-Kota) and corridor II (Pulogadung-Harmoni) will be adjusted during Jakarta Night Festival which will be held along HI Roundabout until Monas tomorrow, Saturday (6/21).

In corridor I, the adjustment will includes TransJakarta bus operational at 3-11 PM and routes shortening. The existing routes will be divided into two, namely Kota-Harmoni route to spin at Harmony junction, and Blok M-Setiabudi route to spin after Setiabudi Bus Stop.

In corridor II, the time adjustment will be the same as in corridor I. The bus routes will be rerouted to Pecenongan-Juanda-Pasar Baru-Jalan Pejambon-Kwitang-Pulogadung. The bus will not pass bus stops in Monas, City Hall, Gambir 1, and Gambir 2.

“Please for the residents to adjust the policy that we have set,” said Akbar.

While to accommodate the people going home after the festival, three TransJakarta bus corridors will operate round a clock. Those corridors are corridor I (Blok M-Kota), corridor III (Harmoni-Kalideres), and corridor IX (Pinang Ranti-Pluit).

“Just like the Amari (late night service), these three corridors will operate for 24-hour. So, no need to worry to go home late,” told Akbar.
