As reported earlier, Jakarta Provincial Government is ready to hold various events to enliven Jakarta’s 487th anniversary which falls on 22 June. In Central Jakarta, the main event is the Central Jakarta Fair which will be held in Monas Square on June 6-8. As many as 50 booths will enliven the event, showcasing main products from each urban village in the municipality.

Those booths will be showcasing handicrafts, souvenirs, textiles, garments, food and beverage packaging products, office supplies, books, bags, shoes, etc

“ Those booths will be showcasing handicrafts, souvenirs, textiles, garments, food and beverage packaging products, office supplies, books, bags, shoes, etc . We’ll also cooperate with Jakarta Tourism and Culture Department to present culinary, culture, and art,” stated Head of Central Jakarta Economic Division, Istya Sati Murnedyah, Thursday (6/5).

According to Murnedyah, this year there will be scoring on best participants’ booths in accordance to their type of superior products. Thus, the participants would be enthusiast in enlivening the event.

“Our target of visitors coming to the 2014 Central Jakarta Fair is as much as visitors as can be. I believe the event would be festive in the weekend. Hopefully, we can also promote all of the potentials Central Jakarta has,” she uttered.
