Fire Destroys 20 Homes in Cipinang This Morning

20 homes on Jalan Cipinang Empang, RT 02 and 03/RW 15, Cipinang, Pulogadung were burnt at around 8.15 AM.

"We immediately send 12 fire trucks to put out the flames at the scene," expressed Ahmad Faizal, Firefighter of East Jakarta Fire Handling and Rescue Sub-dept., Wednesday (9/6).

Fire Razes Shop House in Duri Pulo

Faizal expressed, based on the information, the fire was allegedly from one of residents' houses. The owner forgot to turn off the stove while leaving home.

"We managed to control situation at around 10.30 AM. No fatalities and casualties here," he closed.
