310 Families in Untung Jawa Island Already Received Clean Water Service

PD. PAM Jaya has fulfilled clean water needs for 310 families in Untung Jawa Island, Seribu Islands.

Its connection and administration are free of charge

Clean water supply is produced from Sea Water Reverse Osmosis (SWRO) system by using sea water as the main raw material.

PD. PAM Jaya President Director, Erlan Hidayat said, residents just need to pay for customer guarantee money (UJL) Rp 35 thousand to get clean water facility.

City to Improve SWRO in Untung Jawa Island

"Its connection and administration are free of charge," he said, Tuesday (9/12).

He explained, there are still 182 families in Untung Jawa Island who have not received this clean water facility.

"We hope local government can join us in educating and socializing to residents that water produced from SWRO is safe to drink," he conveyed.

PD. PAM Jaya ensures the water produced from SWRO has surpassed drinking water standard as it is regulated in Health Ministry Regulation No. 492/2010 about Drinking Water Quality  Requirements.

"That water has Total Dissolved Solid of 325 milligram per liter from set limit of 500 milligrams per liter," he closed.
