Jakarta Bapemperda Vice Chairman, Merry Hotma wants PD Pasar Jaya to meet four main goals.

They must be able to strengthen food security and people's economy

According to her, the four main goals are to suppress inflation, prevent the trade mafia, develop traders in traditional markets or folk markets, and increase local revenue.

"The market management must be done professionally. They must be able to strengthen food security and people's economy," she stated, at City Council Building, Wednesday (9/13).

Meanwhile, Jakarta DPRD Commission D member, Pantas Nainggolan said PD Pasar Jaya should serve as a strategic tool of local governments to control many things, including food security, logistics, and trade.

He added the success achieved depends on how well the company is managed and coordinated to conduct core business processes.

"They need to do new development. This becomes a profitable core business," he closed.
