Djarot Focuses on Strengthening Budget System and Public Service

Jakarta Governor, Djarot Saiful Hidayat disclosed, in the remainder of his tenure, he would focus on refining and strengthening the budgeting system and public services.

Additionally, he also tries to realize priority programs that have been initiated since the beginning of last year such as RPTRA.

"I insist on strengthening the non-cash system in local financial management," he expressed, Thursday (9/14). 

October 2017, Public Service Mall will Be Inaugurated

For public services sector, he is accelerating the creation of public service mall in the area of Kuningan, South Jakarta. Later on, all licensing services of provincial and central government in Jakarta, will be integrated there.

"Everything is based paperless system and no longer correspondence. In this way it will make it easier for residents to process the permit," he stated.

While the development program of 100 RPTRA in 2017, according to him, it is important to be realized, as it is needed by the citizens to gather, and strengthen unity, thus to create a sense of tolerance among citizens.

"We will perfect the unfinished homework, that is Kalijodo area arrangement," he expressed.

He admitted, there might be some work that cannot be perfected such as connecting a parking lot under Toll Road to Kalijodo with a bridge. In addition, the construction of a pedestrian bridge (JPO) from Al Mubarokah Mosque, which is being built into Kalijodo also can only be budgeted next year.

"We are still trying to make the toll road as a means of parking parks and playgrounds, including completing the construction of the mosque according to our promise," he closed.
