5,003 Policemen Secure JNF

To give a sense of security and comfort during the celebration of Jakarta Night Festival (JNF), thousands of policemen from City Police are deployed along Jalan Sudirman and Jalan MH Thamrin, particularly at locations that are prone to crime and where the main event located.

We will deploy 5,003 joint personnel of City Police, Resort Police, and Sector Police from all around Jakarta

“We will deploy 5,003 joint personnel of City Police, Resort Police, and Sector Police from all around Jakarta. We’ll also regulate the traffic to inform alternative routes,” stated City Police Public Relations Division Chief Sr. Comr. Rikwanto, Saturday (6/21).

According to Rikwanto, although the JNF started at 7 PM, people would usually crowd the location starting 5 PM. For visitors coming with vehicles, they can park in designated locations.

9 Stages and Many Artists to Enliven JNF This Evening

“Starting 5 PM, the vehicles coming into Sudirman-Thamrin will be reduced gradually because the area will be closed. There will be no vehicles passing, except bicycles. For visitors who want to park their vehicles, parking lots are provided in IRTI Monas, Istiqlal Mosque, surronding hotels, as well as in City Police office. Better come early, so the traffic would not be too dense,” he uttered.
