City Sent Rice Quota Submission Letter to Kemendag

Jakarta Provincial Government has sent rice quota submission letter to Ministry of Trade (Kemendag). The rice quota requested is about 75,000.

Rice quota will be used for Government Rice Stock Market Operation (OPBCP)

Chudhoiri, Head of Jakarta Economic Bureau's Maritime, Agriculture and Food Security Section said the letter was sent to Kemendag on Monday (9/25).

"Rice quota will be used for Government Rice Stock Market Operation (OPBCP). Its implementation is at Cipinang Rice Market (PIBC), East Jakarta," he stated, Friday (9/29).

Separtely, PT Food Station Tjipinang Jaya President Director, Arief Prasetyo Adi stated, if there is already approval from the Minister of Trade to Bulog, thus Bulog will make a delivery order (DO) on behalf of traders in PIBC who want to distribute OPBCP rice.

"There are 300-500 traders in PIBC who have permission to distribute rice in OPBCP. For the selling price refers to the provisions of the price set by the government," he stated.
