Normalization on Kalibaru PHB Channel has Entered Final Phase

Normalization on Kalibaru connecting (PHB) channel, Kemayoran, Central Jakarta has entered final phase. Channel which located between Utan Panjang Urban Village and Kebun Kosong Urban Village is fully normalized as long as 700 meters.

Central Jakarta Water Resources Sub-dept. Head, Dicky Suherlan informed, Kalibaru PHB channel that has 700 meters long will be repaired by full normalization.

"PHB channel normalization consists of mud dredging, river stone installation, retaining wall repair, and others," he said after summit meeting (rapim), Tuesday (10/3).

He hopes Kalibaru PHB channel could be functioned well after normalization. Thus there will be no inundation along the channel.

"We also normalize water channels in settlement along Jl. Kalibaru Barat," he closed.
