Jakarta DPRD Commission B is supporting the plan of the Jakarta Transportation Dept. and the police that will apply an e-ticket for traffic violators.

"Principally, we support any attempt to order system in this city," expressed Syarifuddin, a Member of Jakarta DPRD Commission B, Tuesday (10/3).

According to him, the e-ticket will make it easier for the apparatus to enforce traffic rules on the road. Nevertheless, there is a need for uniformity of rules against violators, either two or four-wheeled riders.

"By doing so, ticket at the spot won't be applied anymore. During STNK renewal, it will automatically accumulate all the burden of the violation," he stated.

Similar support also comes from another member, Prabowo Soenirman. He uttered, the e-ticket by using CCTV at the crossroads have been applied in the world's advanced cities. Even in some countries, fines imposed on violators are higher than vehicle taxes.

"It doesn't matter. This should be a mutual agreement," he closed.
