South Jakarta Transportation Sub-dept. (Sudinhub) extends sidewalk awareness month (BTT) program until October 2017. This extension is done to return sidewalk function to pedestrian.

South Jakarta Transportation Sub-dept. Head, Christianto said extension is done since there are still many parked vehicles on sidewalk, especially in South Jakarta.
"Though we control it often, but there are still many road users parking their vehicles on sidewalk," he said, Wednesday (10/4).
Sidewalk Violations Dominated by Illegal ParkingWith this extension, his side is committed to control any vehicles violated the rules, both on sidewalk or road side.
He added, his side will deploy his personnel in every sub-district areas with help from TNI and police.
"We hope BTT operation could give deterrent effect to violators," he closed.
