Jakarta DPRD Commission A, asking the ranks of Satpol PP to improve their performance to be more humanist in running the task of enforcing local bylaws.

According to Riano P Ahmad, Chairman of Jakarta DPRD Commission A, Satpol PP members should be able to run their tasks by putting forward a persuasive and oriented way to serve.
"By so, the people will become aware of itself. If the enforcer is so good, people will be reluctant to commit violations," he stated, during synchronization program coordination meeting held in the meeting room of Satpol PP, on the 18th floor of Block H, City Hall, Wednesday (10.4).
Responding on this matter, Jakarta Satpol PP Head, Yani Wahyu Purwoko said will soon follow up on the recommendations of this council. He acknowledged, from 4,950 members of Satpol PP, 84 people of them have attended the advanced training to become Civil Servants Investigators (PPNS).
"We can't hold training. So we decided to coordinate with the related units to hold the training," he said.
