Djarot Plans to Hold Kota Tua Night Culinary Tour

Jakarta Governor, Djarot Saiful Hidayat plans to appoint Kota Tua and Taman Kota Intan Lokbin, Taman Sari, West Jakarta, as the destination place for night culinary tour in Jakarta.

Kota Intan Lokbin is merchant shelter which located on Jl. Cengkeh, Pinangsia, Taman Sari. This lokbin accommodates 456 merchants who previously sold their goods in Kota Tua area. From that number, 128 merchants sells for culinary.

"For merchants in Lokbin, Jakarta Government had tried its best to facilitate you all. Later on, it depends to you, how to sell clean, good, affordable goods, and make it interesting thus lokbin could be crowded by visitors," he added.
Kali Besar revitalization project is included in Kota Tua revitalization phase 1 which consist of Kali Krukut river bed improvement, river filter system, pontoon construction, and aquaponics planting.
Besides, there are also repair of riverbank under bridge, drainage, dam, road on west side and east side of Kali Besar, Jembatan Budaya and Jembatan Informasi construction, sidewalk and park, toilets, and sculpture landscape work.
In this chance, he also inaugurated Kerta Niaga Building revitalization in Kota Tua and also Jakarta Historical Museum's west entrance and layout renovation.
