Lembang Lake Park Arrangement Finally Completed

Central Jakarta Forestry Sub-dept. has planted tens of ornamental plants and trees at Lembang Lake, Menteng. Types of trees planted are Bintaro, banyan tabebuya, ketapang, and buni tree.

Sabdo Kurnianto, Head of Central Jakarta Forestry Sub-dept. said his side needs two months to rearrange the park in the lake.

"We have planted tens of trees and plants here. Talk about arrangement, has reached 100 percent," he expressed, Friday (10/6).

Lembang Lake Arrangement Has Touched 90 Percent

Meanwhile, Bayu Sari Hastuti, Head of Central Jakarta Maritime, Agriculture and Food Security Sub-dept. added her side has coordinated with Maritime, Agriculture and Food Security Dept. in provision of catfish and parrotfish seeds to be stocked in waters of Situ Lembang.

"We get the seeds from Fish Seeds Hall in Pluit. Later on we will spread 40,000 seeds of parrotfish and 10,000 seeds of catfish there. Tomorrow, at the same place, we plan to spread goldfish from Mr. Governor," he closed.
