May, 568 Animals Given Rabies in W. Jakarta Vaccinated

The ranks of West Jakarta Maritime, Agriculture and Food Security Sub-dept. have vaccinated 568 animals given rabies (HPR) along May 2017.

Of 568 animals vaccinated, 282 of them are dogs, 280 cats and 6 weasels

"Of 568 animals vaccinated, 282 of them are dogs, 280 cats and 6 weasels," said Marsawati Gumay, Head of West Jakarta Maritime, Agriculture and Food Security Sub-dept., Thursday (6/1).

He added, vaccination is done every day and simultaneously in eight sub-districts. So at the time of implementation the residents already know the schedule of vaccine.

"Until now, there have been 2,873 animals or 58 percent vaccinated. Our target this year is 4,925 animals," he finished.
