Anies-Sandi Gear Up to Face the Upcoming Rainy Season

Jakarta Governor, Anies Baswedan and his partner, Sandiaga Uno are mapping the problem of flooding in the capital. Eventually the results will be used as a reference work handling in the peak of the rainy season.

City Asked to Improve Coordination With Central Government to Handle Flood

To solve the case, he stated, the governor has requested Jakarta Water Resources Dept., BPBD and Jakarta Communications, Informatics and Statistics Dept. to inventory field issues.

"One month later, all units of related regional working units (SKPD) must already prepare a disaster preparedness report," he stressed.

Jakarta Governor, Anies Baswedan added, water problem is a routine thing and should not be repeated. Perhaps, rainy season will come with climate change and unpredictable weather changes.

"We will have tough times, we have to be ready, we want people to anticipate the garbage problem," he closed.
