Dishub deploys 222 personnel to sterilize routes and control on U-Turn
These routes is implemented to solve traffic congestion due to infrastructure construction projects.
Today, Transjakarta Applies Express and Cross Alternative RoutesJakarta Dishub Deputy Head, Sigit Wijatmoko said, personnel will assist in traffic control on express and across-corridor alternative routes.
"Dishub deploys 222 personnel to sterilize routes and control on U-Turn," he said on Monday (10/23).
He mentioned, those six Transjakarta modified routes are Pulogadung Harmoni route (via corridor 10, 2, 5, and 4), Cililitan-Dukuh Atas route (via corridor 10 and 4), Monas-Ragunan route (via corridor 13).
For express route via toll, there are PGC-Tanjung Priok route, Tanjung Priok-PGC route, and Kampung Rambutan-Kampung Melayu route.
"Personnel will help to control the traffic near intersection and mentioned points," he said.
He hopes with assistance from personnel, Transjakarta can go through alternative routes smoothly since those routes were modified to avoid traffic congestion.
