Council Appreciates Even-Odd Navigation Feature App

Cooperation between Jakarta Provincial Government with Waze that has launched navigation feature application by implementing even-odd at some streets, getting appreciation from Jakarta DPRD's Commission B.

Jakarta DPRD's Commission B Member, Judistira Hermawan said the cooperation is very good in accordance with the times and can help people to run the rules of using even-odd police plate numbers that apply to several streets.

Waze Involved to Launch Even-Odd Navigation Feature

"It's a good thing for the people. Surely they need to be informed, whether the system today uses odd or even plate number," he stated, Monday (10/23).

People from outside the region who come to Jakarta using the vehicle can also use the application.

"With the cooperation of this application, it will facilitate the public to access and get information about traffic rules," he said.

Another member, Subandi stated that he is supporting the application, as long as it does not cause any other problems later on.

"It doesn't matter, as long as it fits the purpose of reducing traffic jam," he closed.
