PD Pasar Jaya Manages 1,365 Business Venues at Rawa Bening Market

Total area of the land used for the market area is about 10,933 square meters

Jakarta-owned market operator PD Pasar Jaya is managing 1,365 business venues at Rawa Bening Market or also known as Jakarta Gems Center, Jalan Bekasi Raya, Rawa Bunga Urban Village, Jatinegara, East Jakarta.

Rawa Bening Market Head, Dede Waskita details, those business venues are consisting of 986 kiosks and 379 counters. While for active trader, is reaching 825 people.

"Total area of the land used for the market area is about 10,933 square meters," he stated, Tuesday (10/24). 

As a center of agate and precious stone sales, he explained, the market becomes one of thematic market managed PD Pasar Jaya.

"We always pay attention to the security and convenience of traders and market visitors. All of our businesses do routine maintenance," he explained. 

One of traders, Asep (37) uttered, for cleanliness and security at the market is good enough.

"As a trader, I certainly hope the number of visitors and buyers can increase," he explained.

Separately, Assistant Manager for PD Pasar Jaya's Public Relations, Amanda Gita Dinanjar uttered his side keeps increasing the number of visitors by holding exhibitions and competitions.

"Exhibition and competition have been held since March and August 2017. Public enthusiasm is still high, so we expect agate can be a trend again," he hoped.
