Pesakih Flat Housewives Get Creative Product Training

Tens of housewives living at Pesakih Daan Mogot Flat, undergoing creative product creation training from used paper and splint material held by West Jakarta Industry and Energy Sub-dept., Monday (10/30).

The training is held for four days and followed by 30 housewives

West Jakarta Industry and Energy Sub-dept. Head, Ery Ghazali said, training is done to create new independent entrepreneurs. "The training is held for four days and followed by 30 housewives," he stated.

He explained, training using this used newspaper does not require a lot of money, but creative produce made such as bag and drinking glass has a pretty decent economic value," he explained.

As experienced by one of participants, Anisa (48), she hoped, it could increase income for the family.

"While filling free time at home, she can make a variety of handicraft products and the results are helped to be sold to the market," she admitted.
