Team will Be Made to Monitor Waste Pollution in Seribu Islands

Seribu Islands District Administration is about to launch a monitoring team to anticipate waste pollution. Eventually the team will recruit the ranks of Satpol PP, Police, regional heads and locals.

Monitoring team will be made for early prevention

"Monitoring team will be made for early prevention," said Ismer Harahap, Deputy Regent of Seribu Islands, Monday (11/6).

According to him, team will conduct patrols to monitor waters and islands periodically. Not only that, they will also oversee the presence of boats that potentially cause pollution.

"So if you find the boat tries to dispose waste illegally, just report immediately, thus it can be followed up to Coordinating Ministry for Maritime," he closed.
