Acting Jakarta Governor Basuki T. Purnama asked the resident to be more careful in using electricity. It is because Jakarta still a city with highest case of fire incident caused by short circuit.
Mostly happened are in rented illegal shanties, 2x3 meter square of size
Data from Jakarta Dept. of Fire and Disaster Handling noted that 60 percent of fire incident in the city is caused by short circuit. The short circuit could happen from damaged electronic goods such as dispenser, air conditioner, television, and etc.
"Mostly happened are in rented illegal shanties, 2x3 meter square of size," Basuki said, Monday (6/30).

The city administration already committed to move the residents to rented flat gradually.
