No Hazardous Materials at Five Markets in Duren Sawit

East Jakarta Maritime, Agriculture and Food Security Sub-dept. conducted supervision towards integrated food at five traditional markets in Duren Sawit area.

These samples are tested in laboratory and we do not find any hazardous substances

From those markets, content of hazardous materials was not detected from 351 samples of agricultural, fishery and livestock products.

"These samples are tested in laboratory and we do not find any hazardous substances," expressed Agung Priambodo, Head of East Jakarta Maritime, Agriculture and Food Security Sub-dept., Friday (11/24).

Priambodo detailed that 351 samples of food examined were 148 products of agricultural, 88 products of livetock and 115 products of fishery. These samples were from Klender Market, Sawah Market, Pondok Bambu Market, Ciplak Market and Perumnas Market.

"We are happy, the quality of food in our traditional markets is getting better, so people are safe to consume them," he said.
