UEA Is Interested in Investments For Transportation in Jakarta

Jakarta Deputy Governor, Sandiaga Uno, received a visit of a delegation of United Arab Emirates (UAE) businessmen.

Herein they want to explore investment in various sectors

The visit to the City Hall was aimed to explore cooperation and invest into the city.

During the meeting, several representatives of BUMD also attended to describe the various city’s developments. Among them are PT Jakpro, PT MRT, PT Persero Jakarta Industrial Estate Pulogadung (JIEP) and PD Pasar Jaya.

 

"Herein they want to explore investment in various sectors," expressed Sandi, at City Hall, Tuesday (11/28).

His party offered a variety of sectors that can be cooperated, including investment. But delegates are more interested in infrastructure related to mass transportation.

Those offered sectors are tourism, development infrastructure in housing and waste to energy.

"They're just focused on urban transport," he told.

Nevertheless, he is more focused on the creation of new job opportunities in the city. So the number of job opportunities could be more abundant through the new investors.

Meanwhile, Managing Director Solution Makers Consultancy UAE, Adnan Alkendi explained that a number of UAE companies are looking for strategic local companies for cooperation.

"Those are looking for strategic local partners in Jakarta and Indonesia," he uttered.
