We're targeting 40 thousand new entrepreneurs in tourism sector

Jakarta Vice Government, Sandiaga Uno affirmed tourism sector is the backbone of the city's economy.

At least there are two favorite recreational sites that will be developed in the future.

He conveyed, from 200 thousand new entrepreneurs that targeted to be realized, 20 percent of them is from tourism sector.

"Tourism becomes backbone of the city's economy. We're targeting 40 thousand new entrepreneurs in tourism sector," he stated, in Local Tourism Promotion Board's Rapergub Public Consultation, City Hall, Tuesday (12/5).

He mentioned Seribu Islands and Kota Tua as two favorite recreational sites in the city. His side will continuously optimize government performance to develop both.

"We must be totality in supporting city's tourism. Especially tourism in Kota Tua and Seribu Islands," he asserted.

He also hopes Local Tourism Promotion Board that will be formed could open job opportunities in tourism sector.
