Mayors Asked to Set Up Entertainment Stages For New Year's Eve Event

Jakarta Secretary, Saefullah asked every mayor to set up entertainment stage for celebrating New Year's Eve 2018.

Thus people who want to celebrate New Year in Jakarta will be not concentrated in one place.

"I want all mayors to find the location in their own areas for stages," he said at City Hall, Wednesday (12/6).

City Will Hold New Year's Eve Event

He conveyed, Jakarta Provincial Government will hold entertainment event on Jalan MH. Thamrin and at Monas, and at Taman Impian Jaya Ancol, North Jakarta.

"We hold event at provincial level. In each regions are also need to hold it to divide mass," he expressed.

Jakarta Secretary's Assistant in Governance, Bambang Sugiyono added, his side has listed New Year's Eve event in each region.

"We have listed it. Moreover Seribu Islands will also hold entertainment stage," he conveyed.

He mentioned stage locations in every region that will be held in five cities. As follows:

1. Central Jakarta

- Jalan MH. Thamrin and Monas

2. South Jakarta 

- Blok S Football Field

3. West Jakarta 

- West Jakarta Mayor Office

4. East Jakarta 

- Taman Mini Indonesia Indah (TMII)

5. North Jakarta 

- Jalan Danau Sunter Selatan, Kelapa Gading, and Ancol.

"Lastly in Seribu Islands, the event will be held on Pramuka Island," he explained.
