Next Year, 8 SWROs in Seribu Islands Developed

Sea Water Reverse Osmosis (SWRO) construction in eight settlement locations, Seribu Islands, will be started next year. By doing so, it is hoped local residents would get a proper clean water.

We plan to place it in 8 locations of inhabited islands

Seribu Islands Vice Mayor, Ismer Harahap said SWRO construction is done due to residents' request.

"We plan to place them in 8 locations of inhabited islands," he mentioned, Wednesday (12/6).

City to Improve SWRO in Untung Jawa Island

Meanwhile, Seribu Islands Water Resources (SDA) Sub-dept. Head, Ahmad Saiful added Jakarta SDA Dept. will conduct SWRO construction.

Construction will be placed on Pramuka Island, Panggang Island, Tidung Island, Lancang Island, Pari Island, Kelapa Island, Harapan Island, and Payung Island.

"SDA Dept. will do the construction," he stated.
