Jakarta Vice Governor, Sandiaga Uno attended Radio Day celebration held by Indonesian National Private Radio Association (PRSSNI) at Ayana Mid Hotel last night.

In that occasion, Sandi gave appreciation and was grateful for the presence of radio that still survives in the midst of digital media.

He hoped that what has been done by radio with useful broadcasts, especially information and entertainment for Jakartans can be maintained.
"Especially now this is already rainy season. All citizens can get information from the radio, so give applause for radio," he told.
He also advised that the radio could continue to campaign on the importance of raising awareness of citizens to switch using public transport early on
"Let us realize a participative people of Jakarta," he stated.
