City Provincial Government along with Indonesian online transportation app Go-Jek will establish cooperation to empower the actors of Micro Small and Medium Enterprises (UMKM) by utilizing digital technology.

City Deputy Governor, Sandiaga Uno said there are some concepts brought from founder and Go-Jek CEO, Nadiem Makarim during his visit to Jakarta City Hall yesterday.

In its implementation in future, he explained, the cooperation concept will be in line with OK OCE movement mission. Thus, the culinary UMKM actors can directly be integrated with messaging services between Go Food on Go-Jek app.
By doing so, it will automatically create a new culinary center in the capital that can move the economy in the small and medium strata.
