Traffic on Jl. Danau Sunter Selatan will Be Diverted This Sunday

North Jakarta Transportation Sub-dept. will divert traffic on Jalan Danau Sunter Selatan, Sunter Jaya from 8 AM on Sunday (12/31) because this location will be used as location for New Year's Eve Grilled Fish Competition.

Road will be closed from Sunday 8 AM to Monday 6 AM

North Jakarta Transportation Sub-dept. (Sudinhub) Head, Benhard Hutajulu said, traffic will be diverted from Sunter GOR T-junction to east side of Jalan Danau Sunter Selatan.

"Road will be closed from Sunday 8 AM to Monday 6 AM. Event will be finished on 1 AM, but committee needs to unload tents, stage, competition equipment, and others," he mentioned, Thursday (12/29).

1,864 Participants will Enliven Grilled Fish Competition

His side will also install 10 information banner in strategic spots, such as five-pointed intersection of Jubile School, end of Jalan Danau Sunter Selatan, Jalan Danau Indah Raya Intersection, and Jalan Mitra Sunter Boulevard.

For parking spaces, his side prepares east side of Jalan Danau Sunter Selatan and GOR Sunter parking lot. Each locations can accommodate around 1,000 cars and 2,000 motorcycles. Then for parking space near Green Lake Sunter Apartment can accommodate around 500 cars and 700 motorcycles.

Grilled Fish Competition will be starger at 2 PM. Committee has informed, there will be 1,864 participants which are divided by 466 groups.

"We suggest road users to be in order and obey the rules. Follow the officer's instructions on the field and traffic signs," he affirmed.
