Anies Appreciates Jakarta BPRD Performance

Jakarta Governor, Anies Baswedan, gives his appreciation towards the performance of Jakarta Levy and Tax Board (BPRD) that achieved Rp 36.1 trillion in the 2017 tax revenue. The amount exceeds the target set at Rp 35.6 trillion.

Jakarta can exceed the high target, hopefully next year will be better

According to Anies, it is not separated from the hard work of Jakarta BPRD. Upon the achievement, he intends to increase the target of tax revenue realization in 2018.

BPRD Optimistic This Year's Local Tax will Hit Surplus

"I really appreciate my friends for this achievement. They are Mr. Edy (Head of Jakarta BPRD) and his subordinates," he expressed, Tuesday (1/2). 

Nevertheless, he wants them not to be satisfied with such achievement. Because, it is possible the achievement achieved because of lower target setting.

He explained it is indeed better than previous years. In 2014, the tax realization was at Rp 27 trillion, Rp 29 trillion in 2015 and Rp 31 trillion in 2016. And the last year's realization was at 103.54 percent. 

"From year to year, it's always six percent, this time the increase is eight percent. Jakarta can exceed the high target, hopefully next year will be better," he hoped.
