Insya Allah (willing to God), the city will be serious in managing BKSP and use its cooperation

Jakarta Governor, Anies Baswedan, Monday (1/8), officially received the handover of the position as Chairman of Greater Jakarta Development Coordinating Board period 2017-2020 from Banten Governor, Wahidin Halim in Banten Governor Office's Gazebo, Serang.

"Insya Allah (willing to God), the city will be serious in managing BKSP and use its cooperation. We want to make sure that the professionalism, the communication goes well, the partnership also goes well and we are all equal," he expressed.

Greater Jakarta BKSP was formed under Presidential Instruction No. 13/1976 on Jabotabek Area Development. The instruction mentioned, the formation of BKSP is aimed to foster patterns of population settlements and the spread of employment opportunities more evenly on the basis of government policy, as well as the harmonization of Jabotabek area development planning.

Hence, he encourages all stakeholders to develop the same perspective in carrying out the mandate of the state. Thus it can be completed well.

"In running this mandate, we hope the Home Ministry can always give direction. I also hope for the support from the leaders who lead in West Java, Banten, and in the city districts that are members of BKSP," he uttered.

He also appreciates the Governor of Banten and his staff who have been doing BKSP leadership for three years properly.
