I want Ramadan Conducted Throughout the Year, Basuki Says

I wish Ramadan could run throughout the year, because all people are kind thus situation will be safe

Acting Jakarta Governor, Basuki 'Ahok' T Purnama once again held a Safari Ramadan. Having previously visited the At-Taqwa Mosque in Penjaringan, Basuki continued his visit to the office of Central Jakarta Mayor, Thursday (7/3).

While wearing a brown batik, he arrived in Central Jakarta Mayor's office at around 5.10, and then went to the counter of One-Stop Integrated Services (PTSP). On that occasion, he was accompanied by the Mayor of Central Jakarta, Saefullah and other officials.

Basuki to Conduct Safari Ramadan

"Minimally, the office has a automatic teller machine (ATM). I think Central Jakarta PTSP is better than others," he stated, Thursday (7/3).

After checking PTSP counters, he then towards a hall on the second floor for breaking the fasting along with civil servants. In his speech, he assessed Ramadan is a month full of grace.

"I wish Ramadan could run throughout the year, because all people are kind thus situation will be safe," he hoped.

He also hoped such momentum is a good start to conduct the city administration programs, like PTSP. Through this program, the lower-income people's burden is hoped can be lighten.

"Don't make people dizzy, but just us. Remember, we were sworn during the inauguration," he said.

Additionally, the city administration also allocated Rp 15 million to the Bazis of Kami Matraman Mosque, Central Jakarta.
