MCB Blocks on Jl. Perintis Kemerdekaan Relocated

Movable concrete barrier (MCB) located on Jalan Perintis Kemerdekaan, Kelapa Gading, North Jakarta, which was used for box ducting construction is relocated.

North Jakarta Bina Marga Sub-dept.'s Road Infrastructure and Utility Network Section Head, Libertus Sagala said, his side relocated MCB blocks from Monday (1/8) night to Tuesday (1/9) dawn. It needed more time to relocate it since there are many MCB blocks in the location.

"We have started to relocate MCB blocks on Jalan Perintis Kemerdekaan, Kelapa Gading. We plan to finish it within two days," he informed.

MCB Blocks Added to Secure Box Ducting Construction

Previously, these MCB blocks were used as barrier of 32 box ducting to prevent road user from falling into the hole. It was also used to prevent installed box ducting from breaking when high-tonnage vehicles pass above it.

"MCB will be relocated since the project has finished. Thus road function will be back to normal," he conveyed.
