Jakarta Vice Governor, Sandiaga Uno met with an investor from Saudi Arabia who are engaged in energy section, at City Hall, Wednesday (1/10).

In other words, waste in Jakarta will be utilized as renewable energy

He mentioned, one of Saudi Arabia inventors is intend to invest 300-400 million dollar in energy section, especially waste-to-energy management.

"In other words, waste in Jakarta will be utilized as renewable energy," he added.

He continued, it needs extra work to handle waste problem in Jakarta. Thus his side is very welcome with cooperation in waste management.

He also hopes, waste management cooperation is not only change waste into renewable energy but also opens thousands of new job opportunities.

"They wants to help providing 1,000-1,500 job opportunities in construction phase. After that, around 400-600 job opportunities will be provided for professionals," he said.
