I want waste management facility is accessible to public

He explained, Bantar Gebang PLTSa is an advanced technology which has a part in educating people to handle waste from upstream.

"We want to form people's habit. Thus I want waste management facility is accessible to public thus children could see since it is a part of public education," he mentioned, Wednesday (20/12).

Governor Wants Movement-Based Environmental Awareness

By seeing the process directly, he continued, people could be aware the importance of waste managing in a young age. Thus he plans to schedule students visit to Bantar Gebang TPST and PLTSa.

He admitted Jakarta produces 7 tons of trash per day and it needs problem solving from upstream to downstream. Recently his side wants to focus in downstream waste handling.

"Later on, we will repair special program about waste management in each areas after all of theses are ready. Of course we want from upstream to downstream," he stated.
