Jakarta Governor, Anies Baswedan inaugurated Rembuk RW 2018. Result from Rembuk RW (RW discussion) will be the framework to compile Jakarta Government Working Plan 2019.

"It is a part of our plan to have better development in 2019. I consider its vision and mission are clear, while its strategy needs to be affirmed," he said, Thursday (1/11).
He wants development strategy could be based on justice and sided to the weak, such as handicapped people, women, and children.

He asked Regional Development Plan Agency (Bappeda) and regional governments to utilize Rembuk RW optimally by creating prioritized development plans in each RWs.
Thus, he continued, development could be focused on strategic problems and necessities of each RWs.
He also wants improved application capability to create more transparent development, and to involve CSR in development funding. Later on, some of development funds can be taken from City Budget and CSR.
He expected Rembuk RW can be a chance to improve citizen social interaction. He believes social interaction can strengthen citizen trust to government which can lead to low cost interaction.
"If Rembuk Warga is used to strengthen relationship between citizens, then citizen problem could be solved soon. So I hope RW and facilitator can lead to that," he expressed.
Meanwhile, Jakarta Bappeda Head, Tuty Kusumawati added, Rembuk RW is a tool to obtain citizen proposals in order to compile development plan framework. Her side inputs the proposal from first week to third week of January.
Her side has trained facilitators to act as RW companion. They had been trained on December 20-21, 2017 to accompany 17 urban villages for pilot project.
"Not only e-musrenbang, but Rembuk RW is also equipped with plansJKT mobile app," she informed.
