“For instance, they would be given brand of ‘Batagor IRTI’. The point is that each vendor would be sought their own brand,” she told.

For information, IRT Monas Market will be crowded with 150 culinary vendors who have own brands. Besides them, there will be also vendors selling clothes, souvenirs, and children toys. All 329 vendors will occupy kiosks in the size of 2x2 square meters each. The operational time of this market is from 8 AM until 8 PM.

“The (Central Jakarta) mayor asked for the operational time from 8 AM until 8 PM. So, people who look for breakfast can come to eat in IRTI Monas Market,” she uttered.

When the market has officially operated, IRTI Monas Market vendors must obey five rules that cannot be violated. Those rules are prohibition to stay the night in the market, pile goods, and transfer kiosk, as well as one kiosk for one household and maintain cleanliness.

“If vendors violated those rules, we will tell them to get out. We will also coordinate with Satpol PP to monitor the vendors,” said Indrastuti.
