South Jakarta Mayor, Tri Kurniadi, appealed to Satpol PP personnel who have been moved to his territory to enforce bylaw by promoting persuasive ways. They are also hoped to carry out their main duties and functions (tupoksi) better.
"My hope is they will be better again. Don't get stuck in one place and can innovate in carrying out its duties," he expressed, Wednesday (1/24).

"In enforcing bylaw, it must be through persuasive and dialogical ways. Thus public service can be run well," he stated.
Meanwhile, South Jakarta Satpol PP Head, Ujang Harmawan admitted he is ready to run the enforcement of local regulations in more persuasive ways.
"We want to change the perspective, way of thinking and attitude of work behavior of Satpol PP to be more oriented to improve service to people," he said.
