Election Day, Transjakarta Bus Will Operate As Usual

There would be arrangements later, in order to give an opportunity for Transjakarta officers who work in morning to use their voting rights. Its mechanism will be set in the field

The operational of Transjakarta bus will continue to operate normally during the voting on the upcoming presidential election, which falls on July 9. As usual, the bus operates at 5 AM-10 PM.

"There would be arrangements later, in order to give an opportunity for Transjakarta officers who work in morning to use their voting rights. Its mechanism will be set in the field," expressed Head of Transjakarta Bus Management Board (BLU), Pargaulan Butar-Butar, Monday (7/7).

TransJakarta Bus Operational Adjusted During JNF

Pargaulan disclosed that the Transjakarta BLU management and bus crew representative held a meeting at the office of Transjakarta BLU in Cawang, East Jakarta, discussing the Transjakarta bus operational technical during Presidential Election. Principally, he continued, the management remains allow all employees to use voting right.

"In last legislative election, the bus remains in operation as usual. We just want our service can serve public well, despite there are big events in Jakarta. Thus, they do not disappointed," he stressed.
