Portable Pumps Distributed to Four RWs in Senen Sub-district

Central Jakarta Fire Handling and Rescue Sub-dept. distributed portable floating pumps for four RWs in Senen Sub-districts. Those pumps can be used to handle inundation and fire.

We train residents to use it and sub-dept. will do maintenance once a month

"We distribute one unit for each locations in RW 01 and 05 of Paseban Urban Village, then RW 02 and 06 in Kwitang Urban Village," said Achmad Saiful Kahfi, Head Unit of Central Jakarta Gulkarmat Sub-dept.'s Sector IV Senen, Central Jakarta, Thursday (1/25).

According to him, his side distributed pumps together with its 2.5 meters hose and sprinkler. Those gasoline-fueled pumps must be maintained well by residents because those are City assets.

"We train residents to use it and sub-dept. will do maintenance once a month. Residents should report if it is broken," he mentioned.
