Environment Dept. Has 4,450 Orange Personnel

It has been noted that Jakarta Environment Dept. already has 4,450 orange personnel. They are tasked to clean up garbage in the river up to connecting channel every day.

By doing so, we want to create Jakarta Clean in 2022

Jakarta Environment Dept. Head, Isnawa Adji expressed, they also have function to educate people, especially those living on the riverbank. One way is by placing sacks to accommodate garbage temporarily.

"It's aimed to encourage people to keep cleanliness in the river," he stated, at Manggarai Sluice Gate, Jalan Tambak, Menteng, Central Jakarta, Tuesday (1/30).

4,100 Orange Troops Prepared to Clean Up Trash

To clean garbage in the river, personnel are alerted at the garbage filtering place. Additionally, he also supports the policy of Jakarta Governor, Anies Baswedan in overcoming the issue of movement-based garbage movement through Gerebek Sampah program.

"By doing so, we want to create Jakarta Clean in 2022," he stated.
