Seribu Islands Public Housing and Settlement Area Sub-dept. this year will build a gapura (gate) in the tourist attraction of Untung Jawa Island, South Seribu Islands.
"It is the request of Seribu Islands District Administration. So, each island will have its own distinctive features at the entrance gate," said Romel Pasaribu, Head of Seribu Islands Public Housing and Settlement Area Sub-dept., Thursday (2/1).

"It is aimed to give the characteristic and in order to support the destination as a national tourism strategic area (KSPN)," he told.
Further, he hoped, the auction process could run this month. Thus, in the upcoming April, the auction winner could be known and be able to specify placement location.
"In the near future we will survey its location, at the arrival dock. To do it, we need Rp 300 million," he said
